ICADD15 | The 15th International Conference on Analysis of Discontinuous Deformation

The discontinuum-based numerical methods have been making great progress in not only geo-mechanics and civil engineering but also various research fields for the latest twenty five years. The achievements and experiences related to these methods have been well shared and exchanged in the International Conference on Analysis of Discontinuous Deformation (ICADD). Since the first ICADD in 1995, there have been 14 successful conferences. Now, the primary event in this field - the 15th conference (ICADD15) will be held Zoom online meeting, during September 23-25, 2021.

The theme of the conference is 'Discontinuum-based numerical approach – theoretical development and applications'. ICADD15 covers all aspects of discontinuum-based numerical methods, from theories to practices, in both engineering and other research fields, such as disaster prevention, earthquake simulation and so on. It aims to exchange ideas and new developments, and to promote practical applications of the numerical simulations in various fields. ICADD15 consists of oral presentations and keynote lectures. All papers will be peer-viewed by at least two reviewers and selected papers will be submitted for inclusion in special issues of international journal.

We would like to invite colleagues to join us for promoting the advances of the discontinuum-based numerical methods. And we are looking forward to receiving your abstracts and seeing all of you.
